Whether we drink coffee, chai, herbal or English Breakfast teas, ‘let’s have coffee’ has come to mean much more than these three words. The subtext is – let’s catch up after too long, let’s share, let’s boost each other’s spirits.
My writings here will be about the sorts of thing friends share over coffee. Not just what has been happening in my life, but also things I am mulling over, small victories or setbacks, acts of kindness, and serendipity.
The conversations I enjoy most over coffee, the phone, or any other platform are equal ones. We take turns, passing the baton to speak back and forth. I am a good listener, but I like to leave a coffee date feeling I’ve spoken and been heard.
